I got custody of the white kitchen towels before I moved here. They are fully serviceable but permanent stained after years of use.
Rather than replace them I figured I’d try to dye them first. This indoors shot under fluoresent lights makes them look gray but they are really blue. Very dark blue for the ones put in first and lighter blue for the ones added last. The effect isn’t perfect but it looks better than the perma-stained white did.
The laundry hamper they are in is actually navy to give you an idea how washed out blue is in this pic.
Bonus points this morning: used the old Singer to repair a ripped seam on a pair of sweat bottoms, and to repair a ripped pocket on another pair of shorts. Feels good to get them back into serviceable condition.
